Waste Management and Health
Waste Management and Health
Waste Management is a joint process of the production, accumulation and transportation of waste. In today’s time, we are producing more waste than disposing of. Everything ranging from the soil to the rivers, oceans to air has been polluted.

As the nation is urbanizing the rate of solid waste production also increases. Our ultra consumerist lifestyle has led to the accumulation of an abundance of waste material and because of that, today E-waste is increasing very rapidly, which not only affects the environment but also has adverse impacts on human health and also affects different communities in the society in different ways. Apart from the rise of population, the burden of diseases and death has increased leading to an increase in waste and improper waste management.
